Rob Kennedy - VP of Operations


Rob has an extensive background in operations, bringing both leadership and entrepreneur mentorship to X.C.C.L. candidates. Starting his first business at 19 years old oversees to helping coffee shop owners find the perfect coffees to sell through unbeatable social media platforms.


Rob joined Chick-fil-A in 2000 as an X.C.C.L. participant and quickly discovered that his love for Chick-fil-A and business operations made working for a Chick-fil-A franchisee the perfect career opportunity. After program graduation Rob joined the executive team and in 2024 was promoted to his current role as VP of Operations. 


Rob will challenge participants to grow through mentorship, coaching, and pursuing organizational goals.

Bethany Painter, SHRM-SCP - Executive Director of Human Resources


Bethany joined Chick-fil-A in 2014 as a Front of House Crew Member and quickly incorporated her background in international and domestic recruiting to develop and run the HR department for this Chick-fil-A franchise. 


Although Bethany will not be a direct program mentor, participants will work one on one alongside Bethany to learn about HR processes, develop interviewing skills and learn to show care through accountability.

Matt Fournier - Director of Operations


As a minor, Matt began his first job at Chick-fil-A and quickly discovered that this would be both his first and last job. Matt has worked for 3 different Chick-fil-A Operators, and after his graduation from Liberty University Matt was accepted into X.C.C.L. 


After graduating X.C.C.L. in 2024 Matt continues his development as the Director of Operations at Chick-fil-A Center of the Universe. Matt works one-on-one with his team and mentors current X.C.C.L. candidates, helping them develop into his role as he takes the next steps to becoming a Chick-fil-A Operator. 

In order to intentionally grow X.C.C.L. participants,  a mentor team has been put into place. The mentor team is made up of members of the Executive Leadership Team and Operational Directors. Together the participant and mentor will work on both professional and personal growth in three key ways. A candidate can expect to have weekly one-on-one meetings with mentors to study and gain a greater understanding of each respective area within the business. Both the X.C.C.L. mentors are well-rounded leaders and mentors as professional businessmen and leaders in their community.
